2006
2006 was the first year my parents (in theory) stopped giving me ornaments. Why? Well, as you can see, it's because that was the year I was married. Finally out of the house, off their bills (again, in theory), so you can imagine how sweet it was when I was spending my first Christmas as a Szilagyi, at the Szilagyi house, and I unwrapped both of the above.
The top ornament was made by Sam, Ben's oldest sister (who is newly engaged, congrats Sam and Simon). The second one was made/bought by Ben's brother and his wife (I'm going to go with mostly the wife) Brian and Jamie. I really love both so much. They are so personal and so memorable. It was the sweetest thing to be away from my traditions and familiarity and still have so much of "home" still there.
I love my families!

We're probably the best in-laws ever. :)
Those are awesome ornaments! Glad you shared them with everyone. I agree with Lauren that you have great in-laws! That goes for you too, Ben!
