Fun with Jaedon and Livy

We had the joy of babysitting our niece and nephew today. I love Jaedon and Livy and I'm so glad they live so close to us. We get to babysit every time Jon and Mel want to go to the temple. This time was especially fun because we went to the park to play. Jaedon loved the slides and Livy loved the wood chips. She thought they would make a great snack. After the park we made a stop at the library. Jaedon was very polite and told Livy to "shh in the library" when she screamed.
Back at our apartment Jaedon and I had a little water fun with the squirt guns Ben's mom sent us in the mail. We ran up and down the hallway outside our apartment shooting the wall, and each other occasionally. Jaedon could do the same thing over and over again, so we actually played water guns quiet a while. Eventually he got Ben to go out there with him, and the poor kid came back in soaked. Ben on the other hand was pretty dry.
Like I said, Jaedon could do the same thing all day, and each time he comes to our house he remembers his favorite things. My Malaysian frog, Cars on the Xbox, The Little Mermaid (he loves the mean witch, just like his Grandpa Bassett), and he loves sitting out on our balcony. He is such a cute kid. We just love him. And Livy is getting so big I can hardly believe it. She finally took a bottle this time. And she's crawling all over the place and standing up (with the help of the furniture).
As you can tell we had a great Saturday. We especially enjoyed pizza with Jon and Mel. It's so nice to be able to spend time with family when you're so far from home.
