Miscellaneous

I just finished reading this book and I loved it. I was touched by how much one man can give of himself. Greg Mortenson sacrificed so much so that children in Pakistan can have the education they deserve. I share his love of the Muslim people and I just wish everyone in America could see what a wonderful culture Islam is. I agree with his idea that the best way to fight terrorism is education.

Ben and I went to the temple this weekend. We performed some sealings. We got to do families with children and it made me think of my little niece that is adopted. I'm so grateful for the sealing power. And I'm so grateful families are forever. I love listening to the promises in the temple, Heavenly Father loves us so much and gives us so many blessings.

These are my favorite girls. I love them so much. The one in long sleeves only has a 3rd grade reading level, but she works so hard and always earns A's. I love her. The one in orange is brilliant, and I can't wait to see her go to college someday. I seriously love these girls.

Honey, thanks for sharing such great insights (loved your temple thoughts -- wish you had been in SG for Ava's sealing -- it was indeed very special) and photos. I love you with your kids! I really think you will miss them even if you are "too glad" to have summer come! Enjoy every minute in the classroom. I should never have left the classroom. That's where it really is at. Pa

I also loved the comments. The blessings from the temple are amazing aren't they? Thanks for reminding me of that. I need to do sealings more often.

So enjoyed your post Lizzy. Glad to hear you had the blessing of attending the Temple and did some sealings. Yes, Ava's sealing was a wonderful moment and we wish you all could of been there for it. The photo of your girls...they won't care how much you know until they know how much you care. It is obvious that you care and they know it so that is their first step in learning from you. Adorable girls, especially the lily white one!!!!! Mom
