To date, potty training is the worst parenting adventure. Sure, labor, delivery and recovery are horrible. I'm not counting them in this race (plus, they are horrible and beautiful all at the same time).
I'm ranking things like vomit, teething ... and whatever else might be as bad as those two things.

I agree. There's not much worse than potty training. My oldest seemed to take forever to get it, and she still gets distracted and has little accidents once in a while. However, I just potty trained my boy last week, and it only took two days! I thought boys were supposed to be harder!? So I'm a happy camper right now on that front. Good luck!
Sorry to hear that Liz. I'm just going to enjoy my few days of ear infection and teething-free Matthew before the next storm hits. I swear it was rough for a solid month!
Funny, but I don't remember potty training anyone -- or being potty trained for that matter. As usual, you are the Drama Queen! Question -- are you training Reid or are you training yourself in this latest endeavor?
Chill chick! Enjoy them while they are little with all they require! Trust me, they grow up too quickly and then you are wishing you had them back in your home again potty training THEM! Clarification: having Mom potty train them.

Do you have Shar's potty training book? If you want it tell me on facebook and I will send it to you. I firmly believe in it. Used it with my last two and if you are consistent it will work and work fast. Much better than dragging it on for weeks and months!!

And your mother does not really remember it being that bad. I would take it over a vomiting little one. I know you were all potty trained by two and I do not remember it being a big deal. Wonder how it really was??? Mom
