Every Wednesday night I have the pleasure of participating in my local church youth group's activities. Keep in mind, that "local" is a large geographic term in this corner of Wisconsin. Our LDS congregation has more than a 60 mile radius. Several of the leaders and teens in this video drive an hour each way to be part of our activities.
Anyway, a couple weeks ago two of the youth in our group (a brother and sister) lost their father to cancer. The Laurel class president (a 16-year-old girl who is the leader of her youth group, the 16 & 17 year old girls) came up with the idea of making them a lyric video for our combined activity this month (combined activities include all youth ages 12-17).
So tonight, we did it! And once you watch this video you'll know why I consider sacrificing a couple hours each week a pleasure.
