Two of Ben's four younger sisters flew out to Illinois earlier this week, so we are spending the weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's, with all the cousins.

Reid loves cousins so much. Even though he is so young, I think he senses that cousins have a different bond than friends do. It was such a blast to watch he and Alli wrestle each other all day yesterday. I think she was finally glad to have someone she could beat, and he was glad to have someone his own size. They especially loved helping Grandma make brownies, and playing lots and lots of ring around the rosies. These two always play well together when they see each other.
Today, he's been Jazzella's buddy. My mother-in-law, sister-in-laws, and I went out to run some errands and left Ben with a sleeping Grandpa, two sleeping babies, and two playful preschoolers. When we returned he just kept commenting on how well Reid and Jazella played together. They ran around playing tag (yes, with just two of them). They watched movies like this

And they played lots of hide and seek. Jazzella is only about 36 hours older than Reid, and we sure wish they got to play together more often.
Today was picture day, and yesterday was museum day. That marks three different kid's museums in seven days for my kids. That's lots of exploring and learning!
It is so nice to spend time, simple time, with family.
