New calling. . .

Last night Ben and I got that phone call. The one where you are asked to meet with a member of the Bishopric right before Church. We've been in Cub Scouts about a year and half so the call wasn't all that unexpected (especially since there were three new leaders at scouts this week). But Ben was convinced we were going into the primary. I kept telling him, "Cub Scouts is a primary calling. Why would they move us from one primary calling to another one."

He'd respond, "I'm telling you, it's primary." And then he'd kind of mumble "cause we can't be Ward Missionaries."

Then I was left with my thoughts, 'I'd rather be ward missionaries than . . . nursery.' And I just knew, that if Ben was right and it was primary, we were doomed to nursery.

So who was right? We both were, it's nursery.

Crap.

I mean, "Yes Lord, I'll go and do . . . whatever You want me to do."

Me and Cade were in the nursery in our ward for a while, and I have to tell you it is probably one of the easiest jobs you will have! Good luck!

I think nursery sounds like a fun calling. I hope you enjoy it!

Suck it up because there's probably a little spirit in the nursery that is just waiting for your influence. Besides, nursery is one of the easiest and funnest callings you will have! You will be great at it. Good luck!

Just think. You get to play on the floor with toys and eat treats for two hours instead of sitting in long boring meetings! And the nursery kids say the funniest things! Plus..you don't have to change diapers. good luck!! Ü

I LOVED the nursery! It is seriously the best calling in the ward to have. So easy, and definitely the funnest. You get to sing songs, and play with toys and have snacks!!

Clarification: my first memory of you wasn't 7th grade. By the time you were on Hostetler's ball team, I knew exactly who you were. But that was the moment I remember thinking we would make great friends.

I knew of you in 6th grade, 5th grade too. I was supposed to be in Mrs. Myers' class, but was switched to Mrs. Jensen's class for obvious reasons. However, I know we would have been best class mates had the original plan stuck. And funny enough, I don't remember Kresdon until 7th grade either. For some reason, I find that so funny!!

Have fun in nursery, I think you will have so much fun and be so much fun. But I hope you can cope with the fact that they just serve water with their cookies.
