Lately my kid's favorite activity is camping in our basement. The living room area down there has no windows, and if you shut the doors to all the other rooms it is pitch black. They love it! They turn on the electric fire place and the keyboard. Reid puts on one of the songs and they dance. Giggle and dance, giggle and dance. Then we all lay down together and watch the stars.
I can't sneak downstairs to change the laundry without the two of them following behind me. I try to keep them in the toy room, playing, while I exercise but they refuse. All they want to do down there is "go camping." And I of course have to be with them. I love it and loathe it all at the same time.
