I took a couple shots of both kids in their swim lessons on Thursday. They have both improved so much in just two weeks. It's a reminder to me that I love the community we live in. I love having two YMCA's, a decent sized University, dedicated school teachers, and much more.
At times it's been really hard to live somewhere with no personal or family connections while raising really young kids. Growing up in small town Utah I have a different experience with the word community, but I've found that strong sense of community exists in each corner of the country where I have lived in -- the big cities, the small towns, and everywhere in between.

Bravo Betty. You do indeed blossom where you are planted. There are advantages and disadvantages to be found in all life offers. Thank you for your positive attitude. And to believe you are "Mr. Negativity's" offspring?! Wow...
"I've found that strong sense of community exists in each corner of the country where I have lived in -- the big cities, the small towns, and everywhere in between." That is because the strong sense of belonging lies in your heart and your soul. It is what you make it and you have made the best of it wherever you live.
Cute photos of the little swimmers!
