Moving on

Ben's now done studying for the bar. Today marks his first day back at the Alexandria Public Defenders Office; he's there on a three month internship. We did have a week between these two grown up tasks to just enjoy each other and the beautiful weather we've been having. Here's a little snapshot of what we did.

* Week 28 Dr's appointment. No gestational diabetes for me. Whew! Having PCOS (and a very unhealthy addiction to junk food) really upped my chances, but we're clear. The Dr said my uterus is measuring right at 28 weeks, so maybe there isn't a ginormous baby in there. Time will tell.

* Two date nights. The first we went out to eat and to Inception. It was decent, good acting and great special effects. Our second date night was to the temple and out to dinner. It was so nice to date my husband again after all those months of studying.

* Found a place to live. We filled out the application and were approved to move in on the 15th. It's the same place we looked at way back in June, but now it's another $50 cheaper, wahoo! It's not far from where we are now so there's no new neighborhood to try and figure out. We are moving wards (and technically towns/counties).

* SHENANDOAH!!! I seriously love this park. I just can't get enough of it. We saw:
2 bears2-dozen or so deer (notice the cute fawns crossing the street behind mom)
2-hundred or more butterflies. Ben was in pure heaven over this.

We climbed the top of the highest peak in the park. Yup, 7 and 1/2 months pregnant and I still love to gaze over mountain tops. The peak in the background is probably the most strenuous and rewarding peak in the park. I climbed it last fall with my good friend Mara. The leave changes made it the most breathtaking mountain peak I've ever sat atop.

And if someone who is really good with photo shop could please put a different head on that body I'd really appreciate it.

Why would we want to put a different head on that body? I love the one that is on it! Looks like you have had lots of good times these past few days.
