ABCs of Autumn for at Home Preschool

I came across this: Christmas ABCs: a preschool countdown, idea on pinterest and fell deeply in love! Our preschool co-op did the ABCs last year, but I still feel like Reid only recognizes one or two letters (which is fine with me, but more practice couldn't hurt). I'd already been thinking I should do some sort of ABC animal preschool curriculum to help him practice his letters, but the Christmas idea seemed even better!

Only, one problem. Slight problem. Little girlie is due Dec 17th and I really don't need to take on anything extra in December. So ... yesterday I started thinking about the ABCs of Autumn. I googled some ideas and found nothing. Nothing!  So between 9:45 and 10:00pm Ben and I came up with the below list. I'm really excited to give it a try. I think it'll be a great way to celebrate this beautiful season. I've shared two lists below, the first is alphabetized and the second is categorized by month.

Please, if you have better ideas for K or U let me know! And I'm not so sure about our D word either. Ben might go Duck hunting again this year though, so I figured that might fit well after our H word. I only plan on doing one or two activities for each word, nothing big (mostly letter recognition practice). I'll keep you posted on some of our favorite activities.
