So, my whole life people have been telling me I need to watch Dead Poet's Society. I'm just about to the end and I just have to say, THANKS A LOT!!! I hate this movie.

What is the deal? I could have gone my whole life without seeing it . . . or Princess Bride.

Who decides these things are classic?

disclaimer: had it been a book, I'd loved it. Had someone told me it was sad, I'd have at least enjoyed it a little. I was expecting something so different. Again, thanks a lot! You ruined a perfectly good movie by making me think it was something that it is not. Tell people what to expect before you hype something up!
